Greetings all hoodlums! I've decided to open up my blog to people outside of the vortex of Myspace, and make it more accessible to other readers who kep asking "where's your blog", and me having to reply, "you have to have a Myspace account to view it"...and then getting the "gruble grumble" response.
So, here's where i'm suppose to say something "blog-worthy"....well my life is always blogworthy! LOL but being able to communicate it to others is often difficult for me. I seem to go through boughts of being extroverted, and then retreat to my cancer shell and hybernate. I guess professionals call that manic depression...call it what you want. The DSM IV can burn in hell for all I care, it has no backbone to stand on.
So yeah...coming out of a depressive episode...trying to stay afloat just two more weeks of school and then i can breathe. I haven't even blogged since school started! that's how much chaos my life has been in. I started in Sep. in the Professional Photography Program at Mt. Hood Community College. I'm once again a full time student! And when I say full time, i mean full time! 16 credit hours! Tuesdays and Thursdays are like a "normal person"'s work day, 8am-6pm! Call me a sellout! LOL nah...i'm just gettin' the skillz i need to be a better artist...and try to make something of myself...or maybe i'm just trying to pass the time more productively. Whatever the reason for this journey...it's been a plesantly painful ride.
Life has been kinda "wonky" lately. (that's my new favorite word). Lots of strange things happening, surreal experiences, and also a lot of newness. I killed a racoon, lost then found a prescious stone, grown distant from good friends, reunited with some old friends, bought new shoes, socks and underware for myself, saw Evanescence live, have enjoyed a nice alcoholic beverage here and there and go days and weeks without, can just have one or none....it's all new and strange. Then there was the night of the concert...where i let myself go, and drank so much i got lost in the Rose Garden and sat in someone elses seat! I'm left wondering....why do we run in circles? why do we put ourselves though this pain and confusion? why did I come out "an addict"? if it's really a disease...where did i catch it? who gave me this contageous life threatning disease? My parents are not addicts...so who is my true creator? am I an "orphan Annie"? I must admit I someitmes feel like one.
Okay..that's enough for now...i'm feeling drained. sufficently drained for now. I must journal for myself in privacy soon...writing is sucha great tool. TOOL! speaking of tool! I WANT TO GO SO BAD! TOOL (the band), is coming to Portland FINALLY after tons of years. I have waited so long to see them live, They put on a SICK show! great visuals, thier badass sound, and then just the awesomeness of them being Tool! Also lately i've been so into drumming, that seeing the one of the greatest drummers in the world (and i'm not exaggerating here! check him out for yourself on youtube when u gat a chance)...would be possibly a once in a lifetime oppertunity, and I hate to pass it up. I may treat myself to it for Christmas, if i can score a seat. Tickets are going for $200 a piece on craigslist cuz scalpers bought out the show in a half an hour! crazy. But I can go with a friend of mine in the handicapped seating area, and those seats i think are still available.
Guh-nite!
